The Tire Grinding Machine is a key equipment in tire recycling equipment systems, designed to produce high-quality rubber powder from scrap tires.
The Tire Grinding Machine (also known as a tire grinder) is the final stage after a rubber granulator machine, used to produce high-quality rubber powder from pre-processed granules.
Modern tire grinding machines can process 500–5,000 kg/h (or higher), depending on input size, rubber hardness, and required mesh size. By utilizing a continuous grinding system, the machine delivers stable output, high efficiency, and reduced energy consumption compared to conventional rubber grinding systems.

The Tire Grinding Machine, also known as a tire grinder or tyre grinding machine (cracker mill), is the final processing stage in a complete tire recycling line . It is designed to convert pre-sized crumb rubber into ultra-fine rubber powder through high-shear mechanical grinding.
With precision-engineered rollers and stable torque output, the machine ensures uniform particle size, high production efficiency, and consistent rubber powder quality for industrial applications such as asphalt modification, rubber flooring, and molded products.
For upstream processing, the grinding system works together with tire shredder machine and tire granulator machine.
High Precision Grinding – Produces uniform rubber powder with controlled mesh size between 30 and 120.
Continuous Operation – The high-speed tire grinding system supports stable and uninterrupted production.
Durable Design – Equipped with wear-resistant alloy components for long service life and reliable performance.
Flexible Output Control – Adjustable parameters allow precise control of rubber powder fineness.
Low Noise & Vibration – Optimized structure ensures smooth and stable operation in industrial environments.

This tire grinding machine is designed to reduce 1–6 mm rubber granules into fine rubber powder ranging from 30 to 120 mesh (≈2.0 – 0.177 mm), depending on production requirements. The precision-engineered grinding system operates at high rotational speed, enabling continuous processing and stable output performance.
During operation, the material is fed into the grinding chamber, where fixed and moving plates work together to shear and crush the granules into micron-sized particles. Oversized material is automatically recirculated until the desired fineness is achieved, ensuring uniform powder quality and minimal waste.
This tire grinder machine is typically used after tire granulator machine, and works together with tire shredder machine to form a complete tire recycling system.
