The Rasper is a powerful intermediate shredding machine designed to transform rough tire shreds (TDS) into clean, wire-free rubber mulch. Positioned between the primary shredder and the granulator, it serves as the second-stage processing unit in a complete tire recycling line. With a throughput capacity of up to 6 tons per hour, the rasper combines precision engineering, high torque, and robust construction for continuous industrial operation.
The rasper efficiently reduces TDS rough shreds into ¾ inch – 1 inch (≈ 20–25 mm) rubber mulch, preparing the material for fine granulation.
Its main rotor operates at a controlled speed, generating high torque that tears rubber apart without excessive heat build-up. The cutting chamber is lined with replaceable wear plates, extending equipment lifespan and minimizing downtime during maintenance.
Equipped with an intelligent recirculation system, the rasper ensures that oversized pieces are automatically redirected back into the cutting zone until the desired size is achieved. For larger systems or combined setups, rasper units can process up to 12 tons per hour depending on feedstock composition and screen size.

Advanced Solution for Efficient Tire Recycling and Steel Separation
Tyres rasper machine is a specialized tire recycling equipment designed for mid-stream grinding and steel separation. It processes pre-shredded tires into smaller, wire-free rubber chips ranging from 10–20 mm, preparing the material for further granulation or fine rubber milling.
In the complete tire recycling line, the rasper plays a key role between the primary shredder and the granulator, ensuring clean separation of rubber and steel to achieve high-value recycled products.
Key Advantages:
High Efficiency – Rapidly converts rough tire shreds into uniform rubber mulch.
Durable Construction – Replaceable wear liners and heavy-duty rotor design ensure long service life.
Wire-Free Output – Achieves clean rubber mulch with up to 99% steel removal when combined with a magnetic separator.
Versatile Integration – Functions seamlessly within complete tire recycling systems as a mid-stage shredder.

Step-by-step process:
Input: pre-shredded tire chips (100–300 mm)
Rotor with claw blades crushes and tears rubber
Screens control output size (10–20 mm)
Magnetic separator removes steel wire (up to 98 % purity)
Clean rubber chips conveyed to granulator
