Crumb rubber is produced in the third stage of a complete tire crushing line, where wire-free rubber mulch is further reduced into fine, clean granules. During this refining process, the material is shaped into uniform particle sizes with all fiber and impurities removed. Typical crumb rubber ranges from 3/8” down to 400 microns, depending on granulator configuration.
Crumb rubber is widely used in sports fields, landscaping projects, molded rubber goods, and rubber-modified asphalt. Its elasticity and shock-absorbing properties make it ideal for athletic tracks, turf infill, and civil construction materials. For applications requiring stable fine rubber feedstock, the processing stage is often completed by a high-efficiency tyre granulator machine, or integrated directly into a complete crumb rubber production line.
